How OpenShow works
Most shows have a slot nobody has filled yet. Most bands have a town they would love to play and a town where they can pull a crowd. OpenShow puts those two facts next to each other.
Shows
A promoter, venue or band posts a date that needs an act: when, where, what it pays, who they are looking for. Recurring nights and member-wanted posts live here too.
Openers
Every musician profile says where the act is based, which cities it can help book a show in, and which cities it wants to play. The Openers tab is that list, nearest first.
Trades
A trade is the oldest deal in music: you open for me in my town, I open for you in yours. Mark a listing as a trade and the other band knows what you are offering.
Messages
One thread per conversation, tied to the listing it is about. Agree pay, load-in and who brings the crowd before anyone drives anywhere.
